Welcome to book your accommodation in Gothenburg for the Nordic Biobank Conference. Sweden Meetx is the official provider of hotel rooms for the conference delegates partaking in the Nordic Biobank Conference and a number of hotel rooms in different price categories have been pre-booked in Gothenburg for the event.
Hotel Gothia Towers is the venue hotel located in direct connection to the conference venue, the Swedish Exhibition and Congress Centre (Svenska Mässan). All prices quoted are in SEK and excluding 12% VAT. Payment can be made by credit card or by invoice for Swedish organizations with Swedish VAT number. The total amount and full prepayment of the hotel reservation, as calculated on the booking, must be transferred or paid when the booking is submitted.
If you are attending the conference you can book your hotel at the same time as registering for the conference.

Method of payment
The total amount and full prepayment of the hotel reservation, as calculated on the booking, must be transferred or paid by credit card, when the booking is submitted. All payments should be made in SEK. All bank transfer charges in connection with transferring fees are to be paid by the visitor. No personal, company or Euro-cheques will be accepted. Payment is done by credit card, we accept Visa, MasterCard or American Express. Please note that all credit card payments are made through secure and encrypted online payment gateway, and will be listed as a transaction with Sweden Meetx AB on your credit card statement. For Swedish organizations with valid vat number invoice is possible as a choice when making the booking.
VAT
Swedish tax legislation requires visitors to pay the hotel fee including Swedish VAT (12%) which may be reimbursed according to specific regulations in your country. If you are from a country in the EU area, please search for refund of VAT at your tax office, in your home country. Cancellation policy for hotel reservations
When the reservation is confirmed until 8 weeks before arrival, no charge will be taken if reservation is cancelled. From 8 to 6 weeks before arrival – 50% of the total cost of the reservation will be charged. From 6 to 4 weeks before arrival – 80% of the total cost of the reservation will be charged. We regret that no cancellation within 4 weeks before arrival will be refunded. Please note that change of arrival/departure dates within this deadline is to be counted as cancellation. Changes and/or cancellations has to be made directly to Sweden Meetx AB and not to the hotel.

The official language of the conference is English (no translation facilities will be provided).
The conference registration desk is located inside the exhibition hall F, 2nd floor, and is open during the hours of the conference.

To collect your badge onsite you need to bring the email confirmation (electronically in your mobile phone works fine) or the text message that has been sent to you in advance. The confirmation contains a barcode that can be scanned at self-service desks in the registration area. Delegate badges must be worn at all times to gain access to the conference sessions, exhibition and social events. Please note that we cannot replace lost badges.
